Frequently asked questions
What is FindYourBenefit Business?
FindYourBenefit Business is an independent UK sign-posting service for businesses. It checks your business against official gov.uk, HMRC, VOA and Ofgem rules for tax reliefs, business rates reductions, energy claims, grants and HMRC refunds, then gives you a report and ready-to-send letters. It is not a government body, not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and does not provide regulated financial advice.
Is FindYourBenefit Business free?
Checking your business's eligibility and seeing a summary of what it may qualify for is free and needs no card details. Unlocking your full report and letters costs £34.99 in total, taken in two parts: £1 today, which verifies the card and unlocks everything immediately, and the remaining £33.99 charged to that same card 7 days later. If that charge is declined we try again on a later date of our choosing, and we email a receipt for each charge. It is not a subscription: there is no renewal, no monthly charge and nothing to cancel, and once both parts are taken your business is never charged again.
Is FindYourBenefit Business a government service?
No. FindYourBenefit Business is an independent sign-posting service, not a government body and not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. The decision on any claim always rests with the relevant authority — your council, the VOA, HMRC or your energy supplier.
How does the business check work?
You answer a few plain-English questions about the business — structure, premises, payroll, energy, and what you have bought and built. Your answers are checked against the official gov.uk, HMRC, VOA and Ofgem rules. You then get a full report with ready-to-send letters to your council, the VOA, HMRC and your energy supplier, filled in with your business details.
Does FindYourBenefit Business take a cut of what my business claims?
No. FindYourBenefit Business never takes a share of anything your business receives — one flat price of £34.99, and the claim is yours. Where the official process is free, such as checking your rateable value, it is shown to you first, before any specialist referral.
